Storage

 

Raw: Raw nuts are best stored in an air-tight container in the refrigerator; with shelled raw nuts keeping for 3 to 6 months and in-shell nuts keeping for 6 to 12 months. Raw nuts can be frozen in sealed plastic bags for up to 2 years. After thawing, they'll be good for another 2 months in the refrigerator.

Candied: All candied pecans are good held at room temperature for 1 month or in the refrigerator for 3 months.

Pies: Can be held at room temperature for 2 weeks or in the refrigerator for 4 weeks.
